Born to the late attorney James Sharp, Jr. and Barbara L. Sharp, Alvin grew up in south Monroe. Grounded by a strong value system and the motivation provided by his family, he set his sights on higher goals from the very beginning. Today, he brings those same clear values—and a foundation for lifelong impact—to his campaign, ready to serve the people of Ouachita and Morehouse parishes.
